1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use The Forever DM:

• Account data: email address, username, and authentication credentials (managed by Clerk)
• Gameplay data: character information, campaign progress, conversation history, dice rolls, and world state
• Billing data: payment information is processed by Stripe; we store only your Stripe customer ID
• Usage data: token consumption, session duration, and feature usage for billing and service improvement

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the AI Dungeon Master experience
• To process subscriptions and billing
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
• To improve the Service and fix bugs
• To communicate account-related updates

3. AI Processing

Your gameplay inputs are sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic) to generate narrative responses. These inputs are used only for generating your gameplay session and are not used to train AI models. AI providers may retain data per their own retention policies.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).

5. Data Retention

Account and gameplay data is retained for the duration of your account. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Third-Party Services

• Clerk: authentication and user management
• Stripe: payment processing
• Anthropic: AI narrative generation
• Supabase: database hosting
• Netlify: application hosting

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Access your account data through the Settings page
• Export your gameplay history
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Cancel your subscription at any time
